First Child born to Pierre Bardet & Marie de Moucheron

This is a pretty exiting document, the baptism of Marie-Susanne Bardet, born the 12th and baptized the 14th of May 1683. Her godparents were her maternal grandfather Guillaume de Moucheron and her godmother her paternal grandmother Susanne Fleuriot. Both godparents sign the act, and this is the only time you will ever find a signature for Susanne Fleuriot, which looks to have been a struggle for her. Exiting none the less!

The complete family structure of Henry Bardet II

The brother of her paternal grandmother...

The baptism of Anne-Helene's paternal grandmother is most likely lost to time.. (Susanne Fleuriot) I have however found numerous records for her parents (Pierre Fleuirot & Jeanne Huchereau) including this one for her brother Benjamin, born the 30th of July, Baptised the 1st of August, 1634 (Temple Calviniste de La Rochelle)

and also the burial of Susanne's father 10 July 1650 (Temple Calviniste) aged 51 years.

The marriage of her paternal grandparents

Henry Bardet and Susanne Fleuriot, 13 August 1651 Temple Calviniste de La Rochelle
at this time (and in this Protestant church) only the names of the bride and groom are listed. I will post more on their parents shortly... there is quite a history to be told.
