Anne was the daughter of Durand Gassan and his wife Anne Tallemant. Anne Tallemant was in turn the daughter of Francois Tallemant and Louise Thevenin. Louise Thevenin was in turn the daughter of Pierre Thevenin, Sieur de Biard and his wife Marie Leder.
